Position: Delivery Driver/Warehouse Associate

Location: Lexington, Kentucky

Employment Type: Full time, 40+ hours/week, Monday - Friday
Industry: Plumbing & Industrial Wholesale

Responsibilities:

  • Operate box trucks and flatbed (straight) trucks (Non-CDL) to facilitate the delivery of plumbing supplies, materials and any other related products to job sites and customers.
  • Load trucks according to ticket/route instructions received for daily schedule. Ensure accurate fulfillment of customer orders.
  • Operate all material handling equipment required to load truck and deliver product.
  • Check and verify order and count accuracy prior to delivery.
  • Ensure the safety of self and others by following all laws. Seat belts must be worn while driving.
  • Provide outstanding customer service during all shipping related operations.
  • Maintain all required certifications required by DOT, OSHA and company safety programs.
  • Identify safety issues and problems; detect hazardous working conditions and safety problems; check equipment and/or work area regularly.
  • Perform other duties as assigned. Adhere to the rules and regulations as set forth in the Employee Handbook. Abide by uniform policy by wearing company uniforms.

Job Requirements:

  • Applicants must possess a valid driver's license and be at least 21 years old to fulfill driving responsibilities.
  • A minimum education level of a high school diploma or GED is required for this position.
  • Prior experience driving a box truck in a shipping, receiving, or delivery environment will be considered favorably.
  • Capable of lifting up to 80 pounds and accustomed to frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, and climbing.
  • Pre-employment drug screen & background check.
  • Role may involve exposure to marked changes in temperature and humidity.
  • Excellent customer service is a must. Applicants are expected to demonstrate a customer-centric approach in their interactions.
  • Candidates must exhibit a strong commitment to dependable attendance.
  • Forklift experience is preferred, but is not a strict requirement, training can be provided by the company.


All personnel are required to complete company-provided safety training to ensure a safe work environment.
