Masters’ Supply, Inc. Opens New Shelbyville Facility

We are excited to announce that our Shelbyville branch has officially opened the doors at a brand new location, just down the road from where you’ve always found us.

The new facility offers more space with an expanded yard and warehouse capacity, along with a larger showroom designed to better showcase our products. We’ve also added the convenience of our drive-thru service to make order pick-ups faster and easier than ever.

Masters' Supply, Inc. Announces New Location in Cincinnati

Masters’ Supply Inc. is proud to announce our newest location in Cincinnati, Ohio. This new location reflects our ongoing commitment to growth and innovation, ensuring that we meet the evolving needs of our customers. Our dedicated team is working hard to create a space that delivers both functionality and exceptional service.

This prime 60,000-square-foot facility, conveniently located within the I-75 corridor, will host our latest branch. Construction of the facility has already begun and will feature a state-of-the-art showroom and a convenient counter for streamlined customer service, alongside a drive-thru for easy pick-ups and ample warehouse space to support our expanding operations.

This new location marks a significant milestone as our first branch in Ohio, representing our continued expansion into new markets. We are excited to bring our high-quality products and services to the Cincinnati area and look forward to serving customers across the region.

Our grand opening is planned for Fall 2025, we believe this expansion will not only enhance our operations but also contribute positively to the local economy. We are delighted to announce the acquisition of PC Clark, a reputable supplier of plumbing and electrical products based in Campbellsville, KY. Since 1957, PC Clark has proudly served local businesses and homeowners with quality products and a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.

Known for its knowledgeable staff and trusted expertise, the company has built a strong reputation for meeting the needs of its community with integrity and excellence. As PC Clark becomes a valued part of Masters' Supply, the Campbellsville location will continue to operate under the PC Clark name, ensuring customers will experience the same reliable service while benefiting from the added resources of Masters' Supply.

Celebrating Employee Ownership Month

October 25, 2024

This October, we proudly celebrated Employee Ownership Month at Masters' Supply! As a certified employee-owned company, we took the opportunity to honor our employee-owners with a month filled with appreciation, fun, and prizes.

Each of our 10 store locations hosted a special lunch, where employees enjoyed a meal together and had a chance to win gift cards. To make things even more exciting, we held a raffle with a twist. Employees were invited to watch a video about the value of employee ownership and answer five questions to enter. At the end of the month, we drew winners for some fantastic prizes:

• $150 Custom Basket (tailored to the winner's interests, from fishing gear to spa day essentials)

Nathan Wachtel Promoted to President & COO

Masters’ Supply Inc. is pleased to announce the promotion of Nathan Wachtel to President and Chief Operating Officer, effective immediately. Nathan has been a vital part of the company for 19 years, beginning his career with Masters’ Supply during his high school and college summers. He holds degrees in Business Administration and Accounting from the University of Louisville.

Throughout his tenure, Nathan has held various roles across the company, starting in Operations and later helping to open the Shelbyville branch in 2006. He established the Commercial Quotations division in Lexington and built strong relationships with contractors and clients in Louisville during his time in outside sales. His leadership and vision also played a key role in launching Masters' Supply’s first Distribution Center and expanding branches in Jeffersonville and Bowling Green.

In 2015, Nathan was appointed Chief Financial Officer, and in 2022, he assumed the role of Executive Vice President. His financial expertise and strategic leadership were particularly critical during the COVID-19 pandemic, where he ensured operational continuity while maintaining employee safety. Nathan has also contributed to the long-term growth and success of the company by leading key initiatives such as the transition to the Prophet 21 system and the celebration of Masters’ Supply’s 85th anniversary.

Nathan’s industry involvement includes serving on the Board for the plumbing division of Affiliated Distributors (AD) and advancing through leadership roles within the Southern Wholesalers Association (SWA). He has also actively participated in events for the American Supply Association (ASA).

As a dedicated leader who exemplifies the values of our Employee-Owned company, Nathan is committed to driving Masters’ Supply into the future. As part of a planned transition, current President, Jack Bell, will assume the role of Chairman of the Board on April 1, 2025, ensuring a smooth handover of responsibilities to Nathan.

We look forward to Nathan’s continued leadership as we enter this exciting new chapter in Masters' Supply’s history.

Masters' Supply, Inc. Acquires DAL-RS, INC. out of Somerset

We are excited to announce the acquisition of Dal-Rs, Inc., a respected supply company based in Somerset, KY. Dal-Rs will now operate as a division of Masters' Supply, transitioning to an employee-owned model while retaining its established name and continuing its current operations.

Masters' Supply looks forward to building on the strong foundation that Dal-Rs has established, furthering its commitment to growth, innovation, and customer satisfaction.

Construction Begins on New Shelbyville Location

Employee Shareholder Conference at French Lick Resort

February 9-11, 2024

This year marks a significant milestone as Masters' Supply celebrates its 85th Anniversary. In honor of this achievement, our Employee-Owned Committee organized a Shareholder Conference, which took place over the weekend.

The conference was a remarkable celebration of our company's history, accomplishments, and the individuals who have been integral to our success. Here are some key highlights from the event:

The conference, held at French Lick, Indiana, saw an impressive 80% employee attendance across all eight branches and our distribution center. It was an overnight event that commenced on Saturday with Round Table Discussions. Employees were seated with colleagues from different branches to discuss various aspects of our company, culture, values, strengths, and areas for improvement. This fostered meaningful dialogue and provided valuable insights for all participants. Each employee also received commemorative swag bags containing multiple items with our 85th anniversary logo displayed on them.

The evening continued with a formal dinner, where employees and their guests enjoyed speeches from our CEO and CFO. The CEO's speech traced Masters' Supply's journey from its founding to its present-day success as an employee-owned company. A video presentation, created internally, showcased our dedicated employees and highlighted the significance of employee ownership. The dinner concluded with a prize drawing, and each employee received a $200 gaming voucher for the casino.

The conference surpassed all expectations, and the feedback from employees has been overwhelmingly positive. It has reinforced our collective commitment to building a better and stronger company together, as we eagerly anticipate the journey to our 90th anniversary.
