Merco M226 non-detectable underground tape is intended to provide protection in preventing costly and dangerous digins. It is designed to be buried at least 6 in below the surface to signal buried lines below. Used in excavation, construction, turf and irrigation, cable, utilities, pipeline and mechanical installations. Merco M226 Series Non-detectable underground tape is a 4 mil thick and brightly colored PVC film with bold lettering printed with a certified lead-free black ink. The film and inks are specifically designed and formulated to resist chemicals in the soil for longer life. M226 is available in many industry standard warning imprints.
