The ball valve is designed with press-to-connect copper end connections with an inboard bead and EPDM O-ring for quick and easy copper to copper joinery. Properly applying pressure from a press-fit tool tightens the O-ring onto the tube, ensuring a clean, permanent, watertight seal in seconds, with no flame, solder or flux. The NIBCO® PRESS system is user friendly, quick and easy-to install. When properly crimped a unique "N" witness mark is clearly visible. The lead-free HydraPure performance bronze ball valve is specifically designed for use in systems that deliver water for human consumption.
