Polyethylene is less expensive and more durable than metal and won't chip, dent or break and is easier to work with than metal. Crete-Sleeve® plastic hole forms have a unique one piece construction, allowing them to be easily installed in seconds with nails, screws or staples to wood or wire to metal forms before the concrete is poured and removed once the concrete has cured. This results in a perfectly formed opening in the floor or wall. Unlike metal sleeves or PVC tubing, the cap and flange are integral parts of the Crete-Sleeve® plastic hole form. They do not have to be assembled before installation saving you time and money. Crete-Sleeve® plastic hole forms can also be used for forming voids through walls, sealed with mastic, which make excellent water stops or they can be used as insulators around glass pipes and also can be used around copper and brass piping preventing electrolysis. Crete-Sleeve® plastic hole forms are available in many sizes and may be telescoped or cut for any slab thickness.
